Professional interests/research projects:

The main direction is molecular biological studies of the CNS function in normal and pathological conditions. In particular, studies of the consequences of convulsive activity, as well as studies of the function of the cholinergic system of the brain and disorders that occur during its degeneration. Studies are carried out using standard methods, including PCR, ELISA, registration of focal potentials in tissue sections and in vivo, the use of adeno-associated viruses. In addition, part of the research is devoted to mathematical modeling of neurotransmitter release processes.
