Professional interests/research projects:

Companies headed by D. L. Saprykin are implementing projects to create new types of technological equipment (mainly laser) and new production technologies for high-tech industries (micro- and radio electronics, power engineering and medical equipment, engine building, etc.). Currently, projects are also being developed to create new types of control systems and software for technological equipment. There is also a project to develop therapeutic laser equipment. In addition to laser technologies, the author's scientific interests also relate to the history of science, engineering, engineering education and industry. At present, under the direction of D.L. S.I. Vavilov, a large-scale research project is being implemented to study the history of Russian engineering, as well as comparative historical studies of the efficiency of industrial enterprises, their labor productivity and the impact of engineering and scientific thought on them in Russia, leading European countries and the USA in the 19th - 20th centuries.
