Pavel Volchkov

Biomedical scientist with expertise in molecular biology, genetics, microbiology, immunology, virology and stem cell biology with extensive experience in hematopoietic stem cells. More than 10 years of experience in creating genetically modified animals, experience in working with animal models, including the organization and management of the SPF vivarium at the University of Chicago.

Scientific projects of the Genomic Engineering Laboratory include:
- application of genome editing technologies for applied projects
- development of delivery systems based on AAB
- creation of genetic and cellular therapies for human hereditary diseases, including diseases of the endocrine system and retina
- bioinformatic projects of medical and agricultural profile
- current research in the field of virology, epidemiology and immunology.
